Well - they are trade only - so your builder will quote you.
But to give you an idea...
My kitchen is 14ft x 12 ft.
I had the top of the range solid oak one ( not with the cross hatch window ).
2 full height Fridge cabinets
2 full height 300 mm pull out cabinets
1 double oven cabinet
2 full height wall cabinets.
( all the above connected together )
800mm pull out under hob drawers
1 corner unit with carousel
1 wine rack unit
1 unit of 4 drawers
500mm unit for corner
2 doorfronts for integrated dishwasher & washing machine.
( oh - and all the upper cabinets - 6 in total - 2 of which are glass fronted for displaying crystal etc )
The whole job, ripout kitchen, replaster, reboard ceiling ( artex was everywhere ), floor tiling, worktop ( a quality one ), all ceiling and unit/ under unit lighting, painting, etc etc etc came out under 12K
Magnet and MFI cheapest quotes were £15K for the cheapest laminate!
Kitchen unit quality is very good, smooth runners - self closing, Blum soft close on doors etc etc.
Best

thanks mate
Thats a fair bit of dosh spent there
I know they are trade, im planning to open an account with them, and im planning to fit the lot myself. Currently the kitchen is back to bare brick with no cielings, actually the whole house went back to bare brick so i could rewire , re-pipe and replaster the whole lot along with the new furnishings.
im going to pop down to one of their units in the morning and see if i can pick up some brochures and get an account opened0 -
I bought my kitchen through Howdens. They have a few on display and a full colour brochure with price list. I found them great value for money. My kitchen including everything came to less than 6K.0

Howdens supply MFI. Our last Kitchen before we moved was Howdens, helpful staff and a considerable saving over anywhere else.Praying at the church of MSE should be compulsory!

We've just had a Howden's kitchen fitted, excellent value but they are strict on being only for the trade.......our builder ordered it for us and luckily passed on his full trade discount, we saved about £4,000 on the full retail price, total fitted kitchen price (no appliances) was just over £4,000.......absolute bargain, as there was a load of custom fit stuff for utility room for boiler cupboard and gas/lecci cupboard and the fitter made up an island, which I was just expecting the supply of units only, I supplied him with the industrial castors I was going to use and before I knew it I had an island with matching wooden worktop.0 -
4got to add, usually if you get a quote from a kitchen fitter, most will tell you to call in to to Howdens and mention his name. Most kitchen fitters are also happy for you to pay his labour and just buy the Howden kitchen at cost.Praying at the church of MSE should be compulsory!

howdens are ok and reasonable priced but for that sort of money i would want a bespoke rigid kitchen, not a pre assembled flat pack, yes that is what they are, and colour coordinated carcases solid backs and a vast range of doors and units to choose from. Should be in nearly the right ballpark0

different trades get different discounts from howdens. The move you buy the bigger the discounts. Expect to get 70-80% of list if your getting the full discount. They are not that much cheaper than B&Q or MFI.
The big advantage of Howdens is the units come per built saving a day or two installation costs. You can get B&Q kitchens pre built through their Trade section and may workout cheaper.0 -
