    Thanks for all the replies,Guys. Normally, the 10Gb limit is no problem, but my DD is online constantly looking at jobs, etc., and with me just getting a new laptop we've been using it quite a bit.I have been using iplayer and I know that this uses a lot of gig so we'll be downloading stuff after 12.Re the automatic updates, Linton, how do I turn them off? (XP )

    Don't turn them off, those patches keep XP secure (well, less insecure than before, anyway).
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
