I always use the cost of calls to Spain as my 'value for money' test.

Even yourcalls's Golden Number rate (half their normal charge) is 1.87p/minute - nearly double what I pay now (using 18185).

    Test failed.
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

Some you win some you loose, but we wont mention the side effects where they really sting you. No use to me never call abroad just wins hands down in every other area.
To add to that BT manage the line.

Can do better than that check out www.yourcalls.net
Approx £14 p/m line rental fee calls day and night to 01/02 numbers plus a golden destination which can be anything you require. Call rates are cheaper too where BT and many others catch you.

You can have any internet provider with this service except of course cable!
Whilst been with above have been on ADSL. ADSL2+(LLU) now on FTTC

You continually big them up ! But others have a different opinion.
