Was anyone else in the house that day?
Does the delivery receipt show the address it was sent to?
Parcel2Go are an appalling company in my experience, they delivered a laptop to me, dropped it on the pavement, didnt say anything and it was bust..

I was suspicious it was not working, so checked the cctv footage, which CLEARLY showed the driver taking it out of the van and dropping on the pavement, picking it up then knocking on the door.

Sent them a copy of the footage on dvd as proof, no reply, no refund, total joke.

I am not a fan of Parcel2Go only because they are so overpriced compared to ParcelMonkey, however it is only right that it is highlighted that it was not the fault of Parcel2Go that your parcel was dropped/damaged it was the couriers fault, however any compensation claim would indeed go via Parcel2Go.
  • I received a reply from the seller, he said that he had spoken to eBay, paypal and the courier company all again and as far as every single one of them is concerned the item was delivered a week ago, so I have the item that I paid for and the delivery I paid for was completed. And maybe I should "stop being a pathetic winger" because it is "obvious to everyone involved, me [the seller] paypal, eBay and the couriers that I am just a scanner trying to pull a fast one, but no one is falling for my scamming and lies so I should just f**k off and stop harrassing them."

I don't really know what to say to that!

Have you had a copy of the signature yet, if not I would go to the depot if close enough & ask for it.
  • Yes I have but it is not the name of any of my neighbours.

And I was in all day on the day the claimed to have delivered it. No one came here.

& it isn't your name? I would be going down the depot to ask for more details of where the parcel was delivered.
  • I have no idea where their depot even is, they told me that I can not persue anything as I did not hire them, and they will not talk to me anymore, they even hung up on me when I called them yesterday.

They swear that the parcel was delivered to my address though, and signed by someone here.

It would also be very difficult to deliver it to the wrong address because I live in a new build, that has a compleatly separate postcode to the rest of the street, the building is also named and very obvious.

The signature is clearly readable, it says B Jaksop. I know all of my neighbours, and have asked them and not one of them is or knows a B Jaksop, I even looked in the phone book for Jaksop in my town, but there isn't one listed.
I know that doesn't nesseserily mean there isnt one though.

    I've been Money Tipped!
A similar thing happened to me a couple of years back, except I was the seller.

I chased it, I had to. My buyer couldn't do it as I was the one who employed the courier. Pay Per Parcel took over 8 months to refund my claim, but my issue, not my buyers. Worse bit was that I had to show DHL how it had to have been a courier scam as the parcel amazingly seemed to have tracked 200 miles in 4 minutes - they hadn't seen it, and it was that evidence that made them change their mind, even though the parcel had a signature.

Hope you get it sorted soon OP.

That's a point have you checked the entire tracking process & made sure there isn't a similar error?

You need to complain to both Paypal and Ebay again, forwarding the email from the seller.
You also need to write to the head office of the courier company and put all the details in writing. I would forward a copy of that letter to Parcel2Go and the seller. Inform them that if you don't get any satisfaction within 7 days that you will be reporting this to the police as theft and then do so.
You say you looked in the phone book for the name of the person who signed, have you tried a Google search of the name along with similar addresses/postcodes etc?

    Hi,

We have received this repsonse from Parcel2Go. MSE doesn't endorse anything a company says on the forum.

I’m very sorry to hear you have not received your parcel, can I ask that you please forward me the P2G number of the parcel and a brief breakdown to my direct email address g.iveson@parcel2go.com and I will look into this and get back to you? Kindest Regards George Iveson Parcel2go.com
