I bought Nokia1600 from CPW today.
The price was 19.99+10.00[minimum topup required]
Also traded in my old phone and so the final price was 19.99 including 10pound credit.
As the phone was out of stock [black colour] they gave me the SIM alone and asked to collect the phone on Thursday....
Does this mean the phone is unlocked [My query is can they lock the handset on its own?]
Sorry I am not a hitech person with these....

I suspect it will be. There was a thread on this a week ago.
I've just tried a Vodafone sim card in DD2s new T Mobile Nokia 6111. It worked!
That was bought from Dialaphone just before Christmas.
DD1 is yet to let me near her Samsung D600 to try it.Behind every great man is a good womanBeside this ordinary man is a great woman£2 savings jar - now at £3.42:rotfl:0 -

Well DD1s Samsung is LOCKED!
Mind you that was from CPWs mail order - not the high street.
If I had my time again I'd go straight to the high street CPW shop. It was the same price there as it was over the internet.Behind every great man is a good womanBeside this ordinary man is a great woman£2 savings jar - now at £3.42:rotfl:0
