i dont think im posting in the right place, but hope someone will still be able to help me.

im trying to find out how much cigarettes cost in Seoul airport in Korea.

the reason im trying to find this out is because i am travelling to Australia in august and i know cigs there are expensive, so i was going to take them with me, but i dont know if it would be cheaper to buy them here and take them all the way, or buy them in korea?

any help would be greatly appreciated

Even better: this is your great opportunity to give up smoking. You won't be able to smoke during the journey, which will last so long that by the time you step out of the airport you will already have gone through the worst phase of withdrawal.
  • this is very true.. 2 10 hour flights each way.. its going to be a killer. i will either need 50 at once when i get off the plne, or not be bothered at all. xx

This is all I could find

Working off the quote below. They say that they are cheaper than sydney on Booze so may be cheaper on ciggies .

Maybe if you find the price in Sydney then do the maths when you see prices at the airports you stop off earlier.

Look for the Lotte Duty Free shops if you want to stock up on wine or spirits (their shops also sell tobacco, fashion items and souvenirs). You will discover an excellent range of deluxe blended whiskies• Ballantine’s, Royal Salute and Imperial are all popular local choices Prices are pretty good too• a bottle of Ballantine’s 21 Year Old, for example, will cost you $95•considerably cheaper than at Sydney airport, where it is $135, Tokyo Narita ($115) and even Dubai ($98.88).
  • i tried to look on the lotte website but it is all foreign. xx

    Import regulations by Australia customs

    Tobacco
If you are aged 18 years or over, you can bring 250 cigarettes, or 250 grams of cigars or tobacco products duty-free into Australia with you. All tobacco products in accompanied baggage are included in this category, regardless of where or how they were purchased.

Be aware that if you exceed Australia's duty-free concession limits you will be charged duty and tax on all items of that type (general goods, alcohol or tobacco), not just the items which exceed the limits.
