littlewoods/ shop direct PPI

Options
Hello,

I am writing a letter to littlewoods asking for a refund of my PPI. It is around £280 paid over two years. Should I ask for interest too and if so how much. I have all my statements but trying an email first to see if I can get it sorted simply like that.

Has there been much success with littlewoods?

Really not happy I have paid this much.

    Hi Nath
You can do, but normally they should automatically include this anyway, no harm in asking though.
    Good luck.

I have never had dealings with them myself, but hopefully some have and will post of their own experience with them.;)

I called both Very and Littlewoods - they advised me to log on, go to Online Help, then make a complaint. They say they will get back to me in 24 hours - I do have to say that their customer services staff are really polite and friendly - I was expecting a bit of a battle to find the right place to complain to.

    Hi Plumfin

I don't recall having seen any successes with Littlewoods and I think most calims have ended going between Littlewoods and their insurer at the time, Aviva.

Good luck, hopefully something positive from this for you and will give others some hope too.

Yes, since Monday I have called a number of times to find out what is happening, and they keep saying what complaint. I think my initial experience may have been a one off!! Will keep you posted. Thanks

Had the following email on Friday.

Please be advised that the Extra care Advantage has been cancelled on your account on the 12/07/2011.
A complaints form has been raised to our Customer Excellence team who will be contacting you in due due course .
Thank you for your patience in this matter.
