Ordering metacam online?

I buy 180ml Metacam for my dog. I've tried a few online suppliers and (touch wood) haven't had any problems - I always use a UK company etc.

Their customer service is excellent and it's really easy. You can scan a copy of the prescription and upload it onto their system (or fax, post etc).

I uploaded a new prescription & ordered 2 bottles on 27th June (Mon evening) and they arrived on the Wednesday!

Ordering Metacam online was just as easy as you advised, so many thanks for the link :T I can definitley recommend Viovet for efficiency.

I placed the order on a Tues eve and Thurs morning 2 bottles of Metacam arrived in the post.

And because the vet had written the prescription as x2 repeats, we are actualy entitled to 3 bottles in total so that means we have a longer time before back to the vets for another presription saving us money!

I've used Vetmedic for wormers & flea treatments (not POM) and they have always been efficient and helpful. Don't know how their prices compare. There is no way that they would be selling counterfeit drugs!

Zara, my 5 yo GS also has hips displasia and arthritis.....

This is NOT advice but please have a look at magnetic (bioflow) collars and Ester C.

They will not hurt but MAY help.

Zara has a bioflow collar AND gets 2 tablets of Ester C (1000mg ich, available from Boots - 3 for the price of 1).

Metacam was not making any difference to her while she was on it. I have been giving her Ester C and put a collar on in April - fingers crossed she manages a good 1.5 hour walk now with no problems.

I was thinking of one of those collars, have read alot of good reviews. Seems as though there is a 3 month money back guarantee too, so nothing to lose. Hadn't heard of Ester C so will look into that.

Zara has both a collar and Ester C every day - not sure which one works as started both at the same time but whatever works it does so I am not quwstioning if you know what I mean..... I can see massive difference in my girl...
