Talk Mobile handsets

Just looking for some information here. I'm at the upgrading stage of my current contract and trying to decide whether to stay with my current network or move to get a better deal for the handset I'm after.

One option is to switch to Talk Mobile, through a deal on offer from mobiles.co.uk. I know that Talk Mobile are a virtual network who use the Vodafone network. And that mobiles.co.uk is part of the Carphone Warehouse family.

My question is whether the handset I would get from mobiles.co.uk:

a) would be locked to Talk Mobile (I'm assuming not, since Carphone Warehouse handsets are not locked)

b) would have a customised, Talk Mobile version of the operating system or just be the plain, unaltered version installed by the manufacturer, without the annoying branding and bloatware.

If it makes any difference, the handsets I'm considering are the Samsung Galaxy SII and the HTC Sensation. Any thoughts about the relative merits of these are also welcome.

Thanks in advance!

Liam.
