Its not considered a good idea to move your line rental away from BT as you lose a lot of benefits.0

I went with plusnet and lasted 1 day. There is a capped 1000mins every month and I pay regardless if I use the service or not. After much discussion via this forum, I am happy to say i split from plusnet for telephone calls and am very happy to stay with them for my bb.
cheers
KCurrently 4 me its Rogers Contract cell phone, REBTEL.COM is the best mobile making and receiving calls to/from UK and Canada:beer:0 -
Is that 1000 mins of telephone use?
I probably only use about 100 lol!Cath x

They can't run a half decent email or spam service in my opinion, so I certainly wouldn't be entrusting my phone calls to them.0

I've been with plusnet for my broadband for over a year and never had any problems with them. Staff are always helpful and cheerful BUT since introducing some dodgy automated service it can be hard to get to speak to one of them!! Sometimes it's ok, sometimes not. Tonight took me about 3 mins to get through which is great but I have been on hold during busy times for up to 45 mins. Saying that though, technically there's not a lot to contact them about as i've never had any problems with them! :jMy mind not only wanders .......... sometimes it leaves completely0

better to join AOl much better in terms of speed and downloads than plus.net on basic packages.Although cs of plus.net is much better than the aol.0

No way!! I left AOL to go to plus.net and I would never suggest anyone go to AOL! I could never get broadband to work for longer than 1 day. I had to reinstall my modem every week and the connection would be lost almost every hour at one point. Technical help was non existant thats if you could get through to any staff at all! Their call centre staff (indian ones not the Ireland one) don't understand half of what you say (Not their fault I know) and if they don't understand they just repeat part of their script! The managers are never available and if they are they're useless. They also continued trying to charge me for months after i'd cancelled and became nasty when I refused to pay even though I had proof that my account was cancelled months before!
Steer well clear of AOL unless you want to waste money and never have any decent customer support.
Just my opinion!!!My mind not only wanders .......... sometimes it leaves completely0
