Id say be patient, I love entering comps, it makes every day exciting, checking your morning emails and waiting for the postman to come because sometimes things just turn up! ive had a few good wins and ive only been doing it since may.
I did all the previous comps and now do them as soon as they are posted, about 100+ a day. What a great hobby!
Totally agree with that. :beer:0 -
Sometimes I think it makes a difference, as I enter same comps at my addy and comps for my bf at his addy and I win loads more than him.2015 Big wins: luxury 7 night holiday in sharm el sheikh, theatre tix, £123, IPad Air 16gb, Night in London hotel celebjuicetix :, Portable dvd playerT
Best 2014: £900 VIP cheltenham races day, £200 H&M voucher, £300 camera, 2 nights luxury apt Harrogate, 5 nights glamping cumbria
Total:2010: £10,531, 2011:£11,0750 -
I think increasing the number of comps you enter will increase the wins.I only started in April and was entering about 50 a day and not getting much joy.I had a day off on the 30 June and really hammered the end of month competitions.I spent about 6 hours and must have entered upwards of 150 comps on a variety of sites. The amount i'd entered I felt sure i'd win something even it was "only " a DVD or something small.I've since won 2 signed books from 2 different comps that day and I reckon if you really put the effort in there will be wins.0

I agree with the others, you aren't doing anything wrong. The big factor in competitions is luck, and some are luckier than others.
You could try entering more but I don't agree doing more means more wins at all, it will increase your chances though, the last day of the month can be around 60 pages and you would think that from thousands of competitions ending on that one day you would have loads of wins from it but truth is I rarely see a win from thse ones but tend to do well with the others.
If you enjoy entering carry on but try not to focus on not getting prizes, it should be a fun way to pass the time. If you are getting disheartened perhaps take a break for a while.
Remember there are thousands more entrants than there are prizes for each competition, and that if we had an 'I didn't win, I didn't win' section it would be overflowing daily.Comping wishlist for 2017

We all have dry spells Shaz, my year has been as dry as the desert and then last month an Xbox + Kinect arrived unexpectedly from a comp I had won. All I can say is just keep trying and the comping fairy will pay you a visit when you least expect

I was like that initially, entered everything and got nowhere. Then the small wins started to come through followed by larger ones. The trick is to not expect anything and treat it like a hobby (works for me anyway) and any prizes that do come through are an unexpected perk.
October Wins: £100 photobook voucher, sippy cup and booster seat.0
