Hi all,

I too am awaiting payment from the BTRP. I have also held numerous robotic conversations with the call centre where they appear almost terrified of steering away from their very obvious script. However I did get a little progress today where the lady did confirm that payments will start to be processed on the 15th August, however did get quite confused when I asked how these payments will be prioritised or whether everyone will be paid on the 15th ...

I would be really interested to hear when people start receiving their letters, I will of course post on here once I have received mine.

Fingers crossed everyone that we get our payment sooner rather than later :)
• I have now started the rather childish process of calling them to try to get some more information from them and push them off script on an almost daily basis (I know I really need a hobby!).

However they have again slightly amended story that they gave me this time to;

1.letter may not come out till AFTER payments.

2.Payments are "expected" to be made from "mid august".

I had absolutely no luck in pinning them down to a specific date...ROBOTS once again!!!:mad::mad:

Anyway I'm really hoping it comes soon!!!

I'll keep posted of any progress.

R.
• @Garypaignton; do you have the email address that you are communicating to them with so I could try my luck with that as well.???

Thanks muchly.

Thanks for the update everyone!!

Does anyone know if our pension has been de-invested yet? This Euro Debt crisis is getting me a tad bit worried!! Could cope with the wait if I knew my pension had already been cashed in.

My friend was told the same as Lesley, that payments will commence on the 15th August. However she was told that letters will be dispatched sometime next week?

It would seem we are all being told different things

Hi their email address is
peopleline.pensions@accenture.com

they have taken about 5-7 days to reply whenever I have emailed them, so you would be better off calling them. if you wait for a reply via email you will probably have your money by then ;) lol

I called them this morning and they hadn't received my response. I'm now waiting on a call back to advise what happens next and was told it would take up to 5 working days.

I'm kicking myself for not using recorded delivery. I'm worried now that I might miss out on the lump sum.

Hi there! Hope you have managed to get the above sorted

Hi, not having the best of luck sorting it so far. Waited around a week for someone to call me back, only to be told they couldn't arrange for a lump sum and that I would have to take the standard life option. To be fair the guy was quite helpful and has now escalated the issue to his manager and I'm waiting now to hear back from them for a final decision. Fingers crossed but I fear the worst.

Oh no thats awful! surely if the process has not yet been completed they can do something to sort it. I would ring them back and demand a manager there and then because the process is time sensitive, stick to your guns!!

Good Luck!

• Hi

Have been on the phone once again today and even after 45mins could'nt get through and they play the most god awful holding music which im sure is intended to make you hang up !!!

Still no letter for me even though the last time i spoke to them 3 weeks ago they promised id receive confirmation of amounts etc by the end of july.

fingers crossed this mid august date that everybody has been given comes to be accurate as i could really do with the money sooner rather than later :(

please lets keep each other updated as and when letters/monies are received and for the shock of how much tax is deducted !!
