Was a little concerned because it is a work based e-mail account and I was concerned it would change some settings.

if it's a work based email account it's probably trying to connect to your exchange server, which it can't do if you're not at work - unless you're connected via VPN

I agree, if this is looking for an exchange server then it will never work unless you have a VPN connected. You might find this update has changed your 'offline' mail profile. In outlook there is an option to 'work Offline' but this can be set in so many ways by your organisation. Is this a work laptop and does it connect to the work domain? You may have to renew your group policy. If its work laptop I suggest taking it to you IT department who should be able to fix it in a jiffy as they know the local configuration.

Its been working fine with no VPN connection but something, somehow changed that! Was just wondering if there was a quick fix to do some work today... I will have the night off then!!! :beer:
