    jeans & t shirt

If hot - plus comfy no sock shoes AND LOTS OF POO BAGS

If humid - plus comfy no sock shoes and mac AND LOTS OF POO BAGS

For most of the year living in the UK - plus wellie boots, jumper and a decent waterproof coat with hood AND LOTS OF POO BAGS - no it's not pretty... but neither is picking up dog poo! :D
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Oh and not wanting to be a wet blanket, but if you are in a country or isolated area when you walk, a personal alarm and a torch! I got my woolly hat from K9 knitters who make stuff for dog rescue charities. I only wear that hat for the dog walking and my dog walking scarf/gloves.

Oh no Caroline you arent alone, I leave a trail of poo bags and broken coachies when I get a tissue out of my pocket :)

Poo bags in every bag and the pockets of every pair of jeans, every coat and every fleece I own! For some reason they even find their way into my dressing gown pocket!

I usually do semi-urban walking - parks, canal bank etc, so tend not to look too scruffy. Jeans, top, fleece. A selection of Regatta coats including several 3-in-1 (waterproof shell with fleece liner). Shoes range from sandals to Crocs to waterproof fleece-lined boots (can't abide wellies). Scarf and gloves, when required.

Dry cat food as treats and Kong or tennis ball for games in pockets. And phone (used as flashlight at nights!).

Also use a 'bumbag' for carrying all keys, treats, phone, extra poo bags :rotfl: and to keep my hands free. What a stylish lot we all are!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Thanks guys - looks like I'm going shopping!

At the mo I've got a pac-a-mac for when we've had rain (pup looks at me to say I've done my biz now can we please go home but the evil witch in me still makes him walk) but I think I need something a little more durable; I love the idea of the hat though rather than using a hood.

A bum bag or something similar would be very useful as its usually a case of where the hell is x,y or z so I could just get a spare key, poo bags etc and keep them in there.

We tend to walk into the park and in semi-urban areas during the week and do 'off-road' walks on the weekend so looks like so sort of boot is needed.

Now where did I put OH's credit card, lol?

Ok we have had our 3 1/2 year old beagle since January, and had to laugh at the comments re; poo bags EVERYWHERE!! Ive even got some upstairs in my bedroom..... (dont ask) it just shows that we are responsible dog owners hey? They are in every coat pocket and bag of everyone in the house also in drawers and in the car!

I seem to have perfected my dog walking wardrobe which consists of 2 coats, One heavy hooded non waterproof warm parka, and one recently bought in next sale hooded park with detachable inner coat so can be a light mac. I also need to find a decent pac a mac but cant seem to get one at the moment?

I have my timberland boots and jeans, or sometimes leggings with long leather boots, Im wanting a pair of wedge wellies but at £40 they are probably not essential. So I have to make do with my old wellies.

Dog poo bags - treats - phone - carkeys - most important of all my iphone and earphones!!!! All in an across the body bag which also has little pockets for sweets too!!

Im trying to look presentable and practical at the same time here!!

Earlier this year, something dropped out of my ski jacket pocket at the top of an Alp...a poo bag. Yes, they end up everywhere :)

As for doggy attire, I am a scruffy mare and tend to grab whatever scruff is nearest. This morning was sweatpants, OH's hoodie and wellies (le chameau though, not just any old wellies). I wear similar to muck out the horses. My mother is the complete opposite- fully made up and smartly dressed. :)
