No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Question - would it be skanky for me to take a couple of small bottles of smirnoff ice in my bag for the party! Will save me paying out for 2 drinks when i have tonnes in my kitchen!! ?????

Too late now but I'd say smuggling in a flask and buying mixers is better - that way you dont feel as bad about it and you can always beg rampant alcoholism when caught, which is more believable when carrying the hard stuff than smirnoff ice :rotfl:

Having quite an MSE weekend here - went to the seconds market yesterday and got some much needed work clothing in my new size, then went to a friends house party at night which had an open bar (!!!) so only cost us the motorcycle taxi back and forth.

Sorry to hear your rubbish news, cat!! Hopefully the dream job will come along in no time.

Being lazy today - may go to the gym or to get some pillow covers made later. Will have an early night tonight as I need to go out of town tomorrow for work very early - roommate gets back to town tomorrow night so fingers crossed everyone for minimal awkwardness after last weeks incident :A

    Happy sunday, everyone!

Why did you get Argos vouchers? As the machine broke down and they couldn't replace it like for like, they should have given you a cash refund if that was how you paid, or a credit back on the Credit/debit card used.

    Originally purchased on vouchers.

    Today I have:
    • Signed up to the dreaded secure key with HSBC and checked banking. Within 5 mins of activating it I had a phishing email trying to get me to log in and complete activation. Hmmmm! Seriously thinking I need a new bank!
    • Line dried a load of washing
    • Didnt have breakfast
    • Lunch from stores
    • Popped to MrM to get my sw sausages and picked up meat, veg and a few supplies as we were there (10 mile round trip) and bumped in to my bruv leaving work, we used his 10% staff discount in exchange for giving him a lift home :T (MrM encourage staff to give their discount to friends and family so no rule breaking and he lives on the way home so not out of our way. What we saved on the shopping was roughly the same as his train fare :))
    • Finally sent my trolley of groceries from mysupermarket to MrS for delivery tomorrow night and got my 10% staff discount
    • Found a massive bag of basmati rice that OH had [STRIKE]hidden out of the[/STRIKE] put way, so didnt need to add that to shopping :T:rotfl:
    • Finally compiled a list of days out for summer holidays and started researching which are affordable and which would be most cost effective to use our clubcard rewards on
    • Had a S&S about the house, planning mammoth catch up when OH on 7-3 tomorrow, get so much more done on my own!
    And still to do:
    • [STRIKE]Mow front and back postage stamp using borrowed mower[/STRIKE]
    • Attack clothes mountain that has formed in my room (surprisingly still contained within washing basket and not burst out!) and put away
    • Write a to-do list for tomorrow
    • [STRIKE]Make a sw quiche while oven is on for dinner[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Update sig with grocery spends[/STRIKE]
    • Plan a NSD!!! Might add tomorrows groceries amount to today and try fr NSD tomorrow ;)
    • Sign up to flylady

Glad to update I am still sticking to my diet with a vengeance, head down and trying not to think about the 9lb I need to lose by 17th aug!:o:A:D
  • Just a wee update...

    Evening everyone,

Am feeling very relaxed and happy tonight, have had a really lovely weekend. Go ape was brilliant fun yesterday, scary in places but really enjoyed it. Then had a great night out at a comedy gig last night and went riding today. Got soaked down to my underwear this afternoon though when I was out riding, has not stopped raining here all day. Had a very welcome hot shower and roast dinner when I got home, didn't even feel guilty about pudding. :p

    Today I have:
    Checked banking & updated spreadsheet
    Took packed lunch to stables
Bought groupon voucher for a canvas print for OH birthday (been waiting for one to come up)
    Walked for free exercise
    Put bins out

    Tonight I will:
Fill up car so don't have to do it in the morning
    Tidy kitchen
    Get an early night

Hope everyone has had a good weekend,

    xx
