Afternoon! Trying to be a busy bee today! Finished work at 12, took kids to school fayre, home to put washing out, more washing on, cleaned downstairs WC, fainted at letter from E0n who want to increase my DD to £97 pm  and thats on a rate capped ages ago! Stopped to finally have lunch and then off to clean upstairs bathroom. Washing up is also calling me, OH didnt think to do it this morning (its from last night :o ). Anyhow, a list!

    Today I have:
    • Meals from stores
    • Worked 4 hrs
    • OH currently working 8 hrs
    • Washing x 3 on quick
    • Line drying washing
    • Housework
    • Bought DD new pink sparkly hitops from sainsburys using nectar points

    Still need to:
    • More housework
    • Visit pigsback
    • Make a plan for coming week - need to have major sort and declutter and attack postage stamp (garden)
    • Redo yesterdays mysupermarket list as forgot a few bits and then look at getting grocery delivery to save time this week
Cant think of anything else! Hope everyone is having a lovely and relaxing day!

Question - would it be skanky for me to take a couple of small bottles of smirnoff ice in my bag for the party! Will save me paying out for 2 drinks when i have tonnes in my kitchen!! ?????[/B]

I would sneak some in. Needs must in desperate times.

    Evening everyone

Thanks for starting us Ally- I was at the tall ships today too took DD2 and her friend with us it turned out quite an expensive day by the time they went on the boat trips, shows, ice cream etc they enjoyed it though and OH paid :D

Not done much moneysaving today other than
    • washing out to line dry- beautiful day
    • parked in a side street to save parking charges
    • completed a survey
    • only spent £34 in Tesco- that's a first especially as it was a big extra store.
    have a great weekene everyone.:)

*Work out how to spend the Argos voucher I got for a refund of damaged goods yesterday. You see I'm in a bit of a tight spot: My wonderful, loving, caring OH bought me a coffee maker for my birthday earlier in the year. It was lovely, it made great coffee...but I didn't really want a coffee maker and it takes up all of the space on the work surface in our tiny kitchen. :o Anyway, I didn't want to be ungrateful so I used it lovingly and told myself I was very lucky to have such a nice machine when there are people out there who can barely afford instant Tesco Value coffee....
....Then, last week, it broke down. :rotfl: So my OH and I returned it to Argos and got vouchers back because they don't stock that coffee machine anymore and the ones they do stock are way more expensive than my original machine....
...So, I suggested to my OH that we buy a cheap coffee frother and a small caffetiere and I use the money to buy other gifts so it'll be like I'm having a second birthday. And my OH is ok with this....
....Only now I can't decide what to buy. :(

Why did you get Argos vouchers? As the machine broke down and they couldn't replace it like for like, they should have given you a cash refund if that was how you paid, or a credit back on the Credit/debit card used.
