I bought asda chosen by you 1k box of bran flakes at £1.78 which taste the same as kellogs which cost £2.68 for 750g also the golden balls are 3 for £3 for 375g and Nestle golden nuggets 375g box cost £2.28 and asda's are just as good.0

Haha don't buy too many, i have to refill the cereal shelves! Always buy my lot the 3 for 3 quid stuff, my little boy loves the choc squares which i think are the own brand version of krave. Loads of new stuff appeared last weekend though so might even be more choice now.Smokefree since 27-9-20070

I prefer their Malted Wheaties to Shreddies, they're really nice.0

My dd HAS to have shreddies every morning I never buy the nestle ones always tesco/asda own brand. Have recently gone down a brand to tesco value which cost approx £1.07 and she hasn't noticed any difference.
Have bought the tesco value Cheerios/multigrain hoops this week and ds hasn't complained either....result0 -

Please do check the sugar content in a lot of cereals as recently linked to diabetes in later life not to mention the teeth.
I've just banned sugary cereals in our house.
Golden balls have a lot in them i believe.0 -

Asda's malted wheat are now 1.38 and are no longer on 3 for £3. This is another huge price hike so I will not be buying them on principle. Tesco's own shreddies are also £1.57 - were £1.09 a little while ago. Lucky I already have a stash of other cereal(lol)0

Third-ed on the aldi shredder, got some the other day and can't tell the difference. We also always buy their bran flakes (or smart price /every day value ones), taste is a little different but less sweet if anything and at 88p a box I got used to them pretty quickly!
Can anyone tell me what the aldi version of Special K are like? We get the originals when on offer but I'd like to change over if there's not much difference-we've been stung by the aldi Cheerios before, yuk!0
