I don't shop in Asda, but I can confirm that Tesco's Value Baked Beans are fine.0

I don't mine value baked beans, but i can usually get branstons for the same price or even slightly cheaper, i prefer these so i stock up.
Not value but the tesco ownbrand head and shoulders is quite good, i got 6 bottles a few weeks back on 3 for 2, there usually £1 a bottle so mine were 66p each, it's a good big bottle aswell, i'd def recommend trying it.DEC GC £463.67/£450

Thanks, that's good to know. I've ordered a couple of cans of them this week, so I'll see what I think of them in comparison to Smart Price.
I noticed that on the first page it says that Tesco Value cornflakes aren't worth buying due to taste, but personally I can't taste the difference between them and Kellogg's.
I don't like Morrison's value cookies as they taste very dry to me, but I am fussy when it comes to cookies lolvalue range bin bags always seem to split, but despite us having to double them up the OH insists they're still better value and continues to buy them.
I've bought a few different things to try this week from Tesco so I'll see how that goesSPC '21 #0750 -

While Morrisons, Tescos and Asda all have nice value baked beans I decided today to try some from Aldi's Everyday Essentials range. Yuck! It had a very odd taste to the sauce that was a bit plastic/baby wipe tasting
Their tortilla chips are good though
(As are Morrison's cheap ones, but I don't like the taste of Tesco's)

I've seen the Everyday Essentials stuff in COOP too, although in frozen food section. Aldi's Corale(?) beans are good for 32p a tin. Lidl's I maintain are the best ever.
I agree RE: Tesco cheap tortilla's. Asda Smart price tortilla's are the best!PK! :money:0 -
More Tesco Everyday Value testing...
I bought Tesco's everyday value Mouthwash. Spearmint flavour, 600ml at 40p, tastes nice and does the job. Bargain.
I've noticed their everyday value pasta/spaghetti have gone up 9p in space of a week 30p - 39p.
Tesco with a sneaky tactic on their value mince though. It was £2.50 for 800g's last week. This week the tag had 'new product' and £2.70 for 750G's. Sneaky. This time last year it was £1.90 for 800g!PK! :money:0 -
Has anyone got any good tips for cheap good Instant Coffee. I've tried Asda/Tesco own brand (not value) coffee and it's pretty awful...PK! :money:0
