Hi there, I notice you've been a member of MSE for two years now. Have you ever thought about using the search function?

    Sorry, Coopdivi.

While I first registered 2 years ago, I only began posting to this or any other forum, last week. Sorry if I've broken any protocols, I'm still a relative virgin to forums. But I'm over the moon I stumbled upon the MSE forum community. I will endeavour to always use the search function first in future. Note taken, wrist duly slapped.

I tend to only buy non-processed foods from the Value range, beans, peas, etc.

Most of the sauces are full of artificial sweetners or HFCS instead of real sugar.

  • I just got 5kg ( huge bag ) of T value potatoes ( for £1.49 ) and arrived fresh , clean and look very nice! :D:D

Also the value red onions 1kg 79p look good too...
  • Tesco's jars of Value Pasta Sauce are veryyummy, in my opinion much better than Dolmio's bolognese sauce and less than a quarter of the price...

  • I use loads of basics from all the supermarkets and find most of them better than the expensive ones.... Beware though, if they become popular, the prices will go up ... I have noticed this with the washing powders already !!

Mr T's basic handwash, shower gel and bath creams are excellent I have to mention

Tesco Value shortbread is not bad for the price. It was 27p (for 125g) a month ago, then dropped to 21p, and yesterday was down to 16p. They'll be giving it away soon!
