i am keen to hear if anyone has used toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel?

Hi, I have not read all of this thread, but can answer this.

Toothpaste: Sainsburys and Tesco both are fine
    Shampoo: ditto above
Conditioner - Don't use, no need
Shower gel, I've used both Sainsburys and Tesco, from memory Tesco's is nicer and slightly cheaper at about 32p for much the same size bottle, although I've not bought it for ages, I use the bar soap now, Sainsburys is 3 bars for 33p or there abouts.

Lidl mouthwash (Dentalux) is fine at 49p a bottle. Their Cien roll-on deodorant is fine too at about 69p.

Aldi have good make-up products. I particularly like Lacura Day Cream at £1.99 a jar.

thanks for those comments maman, I wont add to the first page, as I am looking at value/basic brands only in the supermarkets, but thanks anyway :)
