Reasonable value car parks in Blackpool.

I usually drive to Blackpool every couple of years and plan on doing so this weekend. I always park near the beach in the car park with the railway lines. Unfortunately the charges are getting too steep( I think it cost between £6 and £8 for the day)
I am sure there must be much cheaper places and was hoping for some suggestions. It does not need to be right next the beach promenade either. A car park within a mile of it would be fine.

the car park is on Larkhill Street A5860

There's plenty of free street parking just off the prom. We go regularly and have never paid to park. It's against my principles!! You may have to drive round for 5/10 mins but you'll always find a space.0

If you want to park in one of the £1.50 all day car parks, you ideally need to get there around 9am, as they fill up very quickly as you can imagine!0

If you click on the car parks near the railway station numbered 1 to 6 they all cost about 7 or 8 pounds for 8 hours. Are any of these the one you suggested?0 -
I checked up on larkhill street and have got this car park map.

So it is £1.50.
I forgot to put in the link to my map in my last post but I have done so now and the car park at seed street(number 1) is quoted as £7.50 for 12 hours.
I think I will find out later on today when I go to Blackpool what the actual cost will be.(Fingers crossed for £1.50)0 -
