I have the opposite issue at the moment, 2 Recorded Deliveries in a week put through the letterbox. Normal postie must be on holiday since he always rings the bell, and if his machine is not working, asks my permission to sign on my behalf when he gets back to sorting office.0

Glad to see we're not the only ones dealing with this sort of behaviour from the postman. In my household, we're petrified of Royal Mail at the moment.. Here is my Royal Mail thread!

Most of the posties who deliver here are very good but what gets my goat is that I don't get my post until 4.30pm :mad:Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

i never have the postman ask us to sign for our 'signed for' parcels/letters even though they have th emassie orange sticker that says signed for on it, they always just stick it through the letterbox
although this morning had the postman ring the doorbell cause the parcel wouldnt fit through the letterbox. so i went down and opened the door for him and took the parcel. it was a 'signed for' parcel and even though i answered the door to recieve the parcel he STILL didnt ask for it to be signed for±!0 -

A while ago I heard something come through the door, and saw the 'sorry you were out card". I caught up with postie along the road and discovered he hadn't even bothered to bring the parcel
I collected it 20 minutes later from the sorting office, and needless to say a complaint was lodged.Shrinking my mortgage!
