I have just booked my holiday on line and when the breakdown came up after i have paid. It was charging me for excess baggage £75.00.

I amended the excess baggage and was charged a whopping £50.00

Not happy at all

Any tips or advice the booking was with Thomson.

If it was thomson holidays booking you should have got 15kgs included and the option to pay if you wanted more than that

when you go through the booking it does tell you they have added on extra baggage and you can amend

"We've added these finishing touches to complete your holiday experience: In-flight meals, Extra baggage, and World Care Fund . If you don't need them, they can be removed below."
25kgs is £35, 20kgs is £15 or you can stick with the free 15kgs


If it was a flight only then you only get hand baggage and need to pay for hold baggage

Thanks Caz Ive realised what I have done and it has cost me but never mind you live and learn and I will definately be more careful next time!
