What are the best legal ways to download films/TV?

Lovefilm subscribers can stream films using Lovefilm Player.
I don't think there are any legal ways to download films.0 -
you can watch old movies here: http://www.youtube.com/movies
you can use something like iTunes to legally buy and download movies or TV shows, but you may find is that it is cheaper to buy the movies on DVD or bluray some of which come with a digital copy.0 -

Sometimes trawling eBay or flea markets is cheaper. Nice one about youtube movies, didn't know that.0

I used to watch a lot of indie films and 'fan films'. Was a big movement at one stage, but it's not so active these days.0
