Unless I'm missing something (which is entirely possible after the week I've had
) the meal plan thread hasn't yet started for this week - shall I kick off as I've just done mine?
Friday - lasagne (from the freezer) with mixed salad
Saturday - bacon and mushroom pizza
Sunday - smoked cheese and onion pastry-less quiche with salad
Monday to Thursday -
chilli con carne burritos (chilli from the freezer)
garlic prawn wraps
cheese and tomato pasta bake
Thai roast pork curry with rice (the pork is LO from a roast which has been frozen)
Breakfasts will be my usual cereal or HM bread; lunches will be LO quiche on Monday and Tuesday then whatever is supplied by the catering company for the rest of the week. (Free food - yay! :money:;))
What has everyone else got this week?

Thanks, CCP, for starting the thread. Here's my mealplan for the week:

Saturday - Chilli con carne with sauteed potatoes
Sunday -[STRIKE] Toad in the Hole[/STRIKE] had chilli con carne pasta bake
Monday - Sweet & Sour Chicken with Noodles
Tuesday - HM Pizza
Wednesday - Spicy Pork Skewers with Mixed Veg Rice

We've got cereal for breakfast and there's either leftovers or sandwiches for lunch, plus fruit and some yoghurts for snacks. When it gets a little cooler I'll get baking again and make some apricot bars for the cake tin. Have a lovely week, everyone.

I won't do my meal plan until tomorrow, but love the smoked salmon quiche suggestion as I have a pack of smoked salmon trimmings which I want to use and that sounds weight loss friendly.
I'm thinking the pack will do two meal, making it a bargain, so other suggestions appreciated - otherwise it'll be pasta with a cream sauce which isn't diet friendly.
My meal plan is to try to clear out the freezer a bit, so apart from two smoked salmon meals it'll be scampi and peas and something with mince - bolognese if my OH gets his hands on it!0 -
Thanks for getting it started CCP

Well my new way of meal planning where I plan both lunch and dinner hasn't really been working out too well so I'm going back to the old way where I only plan dinner and lunch is generally leftovers or something quick and easy from fridge or freezer.
I haven't completely revamped my plan yet so some of the following will be beefed up a little. (I've only just come to this decision to go back to old method.)
I will also be adding or changing some of the veg since after my stint in the garden this afternoon I realised I now have 11 veg ready for eating - spinach beet, lettuce, radish, courgette, broad beans, onions, sorrel, summer cabbage, savoy cabbage (thinnings as spring greens), peas and mange tout (although they are nearly grown to a size where they're mange-not-quite-tout)
f. means frozen ingredient and F. means frozen dish
Sat: grilled f.bacon, new, mange tout, courgette
Sun: caramelised onion quiche, salad
Mon: bacon sandwiches
Tue: spaghetti w.sardines
Wed: f.hummous, f.taramasalata, f.pitta, salad
Thu: F.ChocClare's Chinese Chicken, rice, mange tout
Fri: f.mortadella sandwiches0 -
Sunday - the left overs of todays pasta with philidelphia light and broccoli and smoked salmon trimmings stirred through.
Monday - Chicken kiev with oven roasted peppers, garlic and maybe onions.
Tuesday - Spaghetti bolognese
Wednesday - lasagne
Thursday - Chicken out of freezer with roasted peppers
Friday - currently thinking fish finger sandwiches0
