One issue I've found is that it has been misdescribed as the ad in the newspaper said a dvd writer and its a DVD rom/ CD rewriter. Worth a letter to head office?Regards

They had NO "manager clearance" table (at Hove) which is typically where the only real bargains are.
They seem to have removed the said table(s) from all the stores near me.
Lets hope they put them back after the seasonal rush, or I won't be visiting regularly anymore.ac's lovechild0 -

One big con. Save your cash until February when they go bust and have their closing down sale.
Is it not illegal to advertise products for sale when they do not actually have any to sell. i.e. Pentium Dual Core processors for £ 4.97.
The management should be locked up for lying to the customers and wasting their time.
Check out Novatech for quality and service or Aria for really cheap prices, though the quality is not always there.

I went the other day and one of the P1200 cameras (on sale at £99) was in a box with a sticker '£39.99 boxing day'. I took it to the till and it scanned at £100. Bit annoying, was way too early to stand there and argue although in hindsight I should have done. Slightly annoyed with myself now..matched betting: £879.63

I went in to a Nottingham store today, and picked up a brand new Olympus lense for £25.
I'm not sure it was supposed to be reduced though as it was the newer model of the lense, which everywhere else is £150 + (£162 on pcworld site)0 -
