Having just booked a couple of rooms for October I checked my bank account this morning and found what looked like several strange debits from travelodge already showing for today, the 14th July. It seems like I've had money debited in error from my account today for bookings made and already paid for during the last sale back in early June. I've spoken to travelodge who said they've just been made aware of the issue by their bank and that any debits made in error this morning are likely to be recredited within 48hrs. Fingers crossed it's not a widespread problem but for anyone who like me also booked in the early June sale it may be worth double checking your bank account to make sure all looks correct.

I had same happening this morning. £68 debited from my account again! fortunately even though it's near pay day I still had money in my account. I have notified them of the details and am awaiting a further response. Do you think we should expect some sort of compensation?
