At the start of the sale, there will be 60,000 £10 rooms available for stays between 1 September and 30 December 2011 at selected hotels on selected nights.

Probably means hotel rooms they can't shift in certain areas and on certain nights.

You should have no problem getting a room in HULL, everytime I look for York hotels I get the HULL offers. DONCASTER will be another £10'er. Sundays for £10 I guess.

Anyone want to guess where the majority of the £10 rooms will be??

Stop moaning you 2....lol.....Theyre not going to giveaway rooms they can get more for...now are they?...The last 2 sales havent been as good for me as previous years, but i'm still averaging 6or7 ..5,6, or 7 day stays away a year.....It could be that Ive told too many people to be there early...Ive been catching these for about 8 years now(when they were £6 and £7 a night and you got a Times newspaper every morning) so cant complain...Ive still got a week in August and a week in September off the last sale to come, so only looking for a few 2 or 3 days together...

As for the most hotels with £10 rooms, yes Doncaster will be there, and possibly the Warrington ones and the Notts ones around Blyth/A1 area...As for York/Leeds....the problem here is No free car parking, and sometimes its £10 a night, which defeats the £10 sale really...We often go to Pontefract area and park on the outskirts of York/Leeds(if its nice, and walk)..Dont think weve been to Hull,,,,might try there for a couple of days...

    See you early morning then...

Having just booked a couple of rooms for October I checked my bank account this morning and found what looked like several strange debits from travelodge already showing for today, the 14th July. It seems like I've had money debited in error from my account today for bookings made and already paid for during the last sale back in early June. I've spoken to travelodge who said they've just been made aware of the issue by their bank and that any debits made in error this morning are likely to be recredited within 48hrs. Fingers crossed it's not a widespread problem but for anyone who like me also booked in the early June sale it may be worth double checking your bank account to make sure all looks correct.

    Actually very happy. lol :j

Got a room in Nottingham and one in London, both for £10 per night. :money:

I wanted Scarborough, which was showing, but at checkout it changed to £19.50!!!!!! Should have set the alarm, but Nottingham is a better stop-off for myself (approx. half way to London).

The Hull and Doncaster rooms were there :D (as always), but pleasantly surprised at the choice - quite a few decent £15 rooms also.

No more moaning this morning....................not 'til after breakfast anyway. ;)

Was working late so slept in and thought had missed out on sale rooms. Was looking for October half term, missed out on London so thought would try Edinburgh (never been) instead as should be about same distance on train. Got a night for £10 at Edinburgh Learmonth in a family room
