I have no spare cash and can't honestly think of anything that I desperately need.
The only thing I WILL be doing is putting a couple of packs of Reduced Christmas cards into the basket when we do the Tesco run - might even buy a Christmas Pudding for next year - the one we ate yesterday was purchased in January for half-price (use-by date was Feb 2007) - it was excellent.
Be careful if you buy Tesco cards as some I bought reduced last year had to recycle them in the store 2006 on the back of them.
I checked this year and the one pack I bought also has to recycle them back in the store by Jan 2007 so if you buy them early to use next Christmas it will show - that is if your friends notice. The packs I saw were all closed so you wouldn't see this until you got them home and then opened them up.
Just hope this helps!!!!0 -

Sales used to be a big boxing day thing - now you've got easter sales, summer sales, winter sales, clearance sales, we've got too much crap so come have it half price sales...
It's nothing but proof, if ever needed, that you can stick 'reduced' on any old cack you like and some mug will come along and buy it on account of the fact that it's a 'bargain.'
Would you buy it if it was that price all year round? No. Thought not.0 -
I will only pay cash regardless, vowed never to spend another penny on a credit card and sticking to it !! Got money there to spend, but doubt I will end up buying much, not a lot I need, and what I need probably isn't in the sale. One day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -

Ive nothing against paying on a credit card but I am one of those rarities that settle in full every month. However, I will not be shopping in the sales unless I just fall into one during my usual shopping trip. There are sales on all year round and I hate the queues and the traffic-not to mention parking problems. Only thing I may do is to stock up on a few pressies for people if I see anything that is an absolute honest bargain and is "just what the person would like". That is rather doubtful.Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0

Sad I know - but I am planning to go to the Next sale at 5:30 am tomorrow. I lovethier kids clothes but grudge paying full price. So will go an get some stuff for next winter. Won't be using a credit card though. Got some money from my dad and gran for the kids so will spend that as the kids definately got enough toys from Santa!!!0
