I hear what you say, but it appears to me that a lot of people never seem to have heard of the words local glazier.
Are you a local glazier (or something) who is annoyed at people not looking to their local businesses for jobs they want doing?
Can't see any other reason to be labouring this point after i have explained my train of thought.
If you are, then i apologise. I assumed that not bothering a business when i am not serious about buying yet was the best course of action. But, perhaps local businesses would prefer to be pestered with questions in the hopes of perhaps making a sale? IDK.Sarah.

I have decided to do something creative with the frame now instead of replacing the glass. I'll use it to make somewhere to clip the kid's art easily. Yey!Sarah.

No, I am not a local glazier. But posts about obtaining glass seem to crop up at regular intervals without the person concerned ever thinking that there might be a solution to their problem to be found locally. The internet is not necessarily the first port of call in all circumstances.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0
