I think you will still be able to get the Nail varnish as this Sunday is the last token & Tesco should already have stock.
If you need a 3rd token, you can get it here http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/multimedia/archive/00274/nails_voucher_274601a.pdf
I've assumed the hairdryer offer won't be going ahead so have edited the thread I posted on that. UNLESS they continue it in The Sunday Sun?0 -
I've stopped shopping at Tescos and never bought the sun or NOTW just wish the sun would cease production too0

I agree with Jenniewb,
The main problem here is the fact that they were caught red handed while a lot of other trashy papers and magazines have got away with this for years, maybe at different levels Ie: sifting through peoples bins and the likes but it all comes back to the same point invasion of privacey.0 -
So Tesco was prepared to support the NOTW. Well I will not be using Tesco again. What a PR disaster to make such an announcement, only to find the the low-life have scuppered the ship.
Well, that's not strictly accurate. What Tesco said was that they would wait until the results of the inquiry were known before making a decision. Which is what all the advertisers were initially saying, until some of the them changed their minds as a result of the 'public outcry' on Facebook etc.
Fair enough, I'd have thought. After all, if you were accused of some heinous crime, I'd imagine that you'd expect your neighbours to at least wait until you were tried and convicted of said crime, before they started lobbing bricks through your window and scrawling 'pedo scum' on your front door.0 -
maybe you shouldnt be on this forum as martin lewis himself was still undecided what to write in his weekly NOTW column. So Tesco was prepared to support the NOTW. See, (and sorry if this is going OT) but it all seems a bit odd to me. I know what they did was and is terrible, I don't get why they are giving up so easily, the paper itself had been around for nearly 170 years, it just seems a bit odd I mean I could understand if it were a failing paper- infact it would seem more people then ever buy it, I could understand if there were other things happening. As if there were more to come out, more to hide or something...0

Murdoch is only doing it to save face, all the staff sacked paper finished within a couple of weeks it will be a new paper under a different name with new managment in control0

The Ford Motor Company was the very first to break ranks and announce publically it was no longer continuing to advertise in NOTW.
I wonder if Ford hadn't come out first in the way they did how many other companies would have just carried on advertising like sheep. All other motor manufacturers soon followed Ford's lead!
As for Tesco well you know how damn ruthless they are they would sell their carrier bags if they thought they could get away with it!Cat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money
