    We only asked for the driver to be spoken to, its hardly crime of the century is it ?

    Well if " we received a summary letter a couple of weeks later stating they had spoken to the driver and no further action was being taken" is satisfactory in your view, and the fact that your "new" car will be worth less at resale time to to "an old git's actions" is acceptable, I'm totally in the wrong, beatdeadhorse5.gif
