Newbie Postet Notes

Is there any way to remove the postet note graphic? I find it really patronizing.

Its not meant to be patronising. Its not aimed at you its aimed at long term members to remind us to be a little more tolerant than some posters are to some longer term posters.

Its a reminder, that's all.

I assume you are viewing the site in the new look? As a newbie can you view the old look site? (not sure if that feature is available to all or just those who were registered when the new look was first brought in)
I view MSE via the old look and can't see your newbie postit note.

If you are viewing via new look and to see if you can view the old look go to User CP > Edit Options > Miscellaneous Options (at the bottom) and there is a drop down menu that says for you New Look, change that to old look, hit save changes and you shouldn't now see the postit note.

Bear in mind though that all users of the new look site will still see it, you just won't be able to.
