I placed an order on Ebuyer.com yesterday at half two in the afternoon. I chose next day delivery for £7.49.

The item has not been delivered today, I have been in touch with Ebuyer who have simply stated that my order will arrive tomorrow, and they have therefore refunded £2, as this is how much I would have saved had I initially chosen the £5.49 Friday option.

Now, I understand where they are coming from but I paid good money for a next day service which they clearly failed to provide. As far as I am aware, it is the sellers responsibility to ensure I receive the item.

What really gets me is the fact that many people bought the same product, some ordered later than me, and chose the free 5 day delivery option and they have received their item today.

I wanted the product today. Had I wanted it later, I would have chosen the free 5 day delivery option.

Now, Ebuyer, or at least the rep I am in touch with are refusing to refund me the remaining £5.49. S/he is just stating that it is their policy to refund the surcharge incurred, which in my case is £2.

What are my rights, and what can I do? Has this happened to any of you? What did you do?

A lot of items ordered for next day delivery with Amazon do not always arrive next day even though they charge an extra chunk.

Clearly it can never be 100% guaranteed as there are all sorts of issues that can occur.

It is unfortunate but they have refunded the difference which is not what many companies would have done.

I'm also not sure what you are expecting by asking this on here. You either cancel the order or put up with the delivery tomorrow. It is your choice and you have chosen to have the item delivered tomorrow so other than it being unfortunate, what do you want to hear?

If you ordered a lot with various companies using next day delivery you would have experienced this issue at some point.

In this day and age we expect to click a button and have our items right here and right now.

It doesn't always happen, there will always be someone at fault.

    We learn from experience.

Ok so you paid for next day and it didn't happen, you complained, you got the refund on next day delivery.

It is an inconvinience that's all, nothing to get stressy about.

They could make you wait until Friday
refunded £2, as this is how much I would have saved had I initially chosen the £5.49 Friday option.
But you will most likely recieve it tomorrow, which will be two days earlier than what you are now paying for...

I drove to costco today to get my dog's bulk dog food, his brand wasn't there, did i kick off that it wasn't there...no
