sorry to upset anyone.... but found a dead cat :(

As with lynnemcf, one of my cats when I was younger was run over. The man who ran him over, stopped, knocked on a few doors who didn't know who's cat he was then he picked him up and took him home. He said he didn't suffer and he buried him on his farm. He then took the time to try and find us to tell us. It was honestly very reassuring that he showed compassion and did what he did and didn't just leave him by the side of the road.

My cat Tails went missing in September last year, I looked for him for months, every vet in the area has my number (to no avail), but if a vet had told me that someone had found him and buried him in their garden, I would have obviously been very upset about him, but happy and touched that someone had the heart to take him and bury him so that he could RIP and not get poked by some children in the street or even run over by any more cars.

My cat is missing, I have been searching for him since march. Just had yet another false alarm, someone thought a vet not far from here had him, but it wasn't him. But if I found out he had been run over I would hope that someone as nice as you had found him and put him to rest. If you're anywhere in the North East of Scotland, could you let me know what the cat looked like etc?

Also, try AnimalSearch.co.uk, you can anonymously look for missing cats in your area, or if you're feeling brave, post a message to say it's been found. I'm sure the owners would massively appreciate the truth, I know I certainly would.
