but little did we know that in the terms and conditions it reads that £75 will be charged if not cancelled within 14 days. .

Well how on Earth can they expect anyone to know £75 is going to be charged if you don't cancel within 14 days??

If they worked, they would be on the shelf in boots, but you'd require some degree of excercise to get there.

This form worked for my mother:

    http://www.proactionacai.com/cancel/cancel.php

and she had her money refunded within 10 days of her sending it in.

You need to read the T&Cs properly.
  • I did the same thing and cancelled straight away with no problems. It's NOT a scam but you do need to read the t&c's. Maybe we all need to realise the best way to lose weight is to eat less and exercise more?

These companies don't hang around before taking your money. If you don't cancel before that 14 days is up, bang, day 15 they'll be taking a payment.

But, tbh, what do people think will happen after a 14 day free trial?? The clue's in the name! After 14 days it's not free any more that means you'll be charged!

  • This is not a scam but it is very SHARP PRACTICE! I DID read the Terms and Conditions. I DID cancel within 14 days using the online cancellation form. My mistake was not chasing it up when I did not get an acknowledgement. They charged me the £75 + £37.50 for the trial products and sent me a second batch. When I rang them, they acknowledged that there WAS a record of my cancellation and that they would refund me if I posted the pills back. I agreed to keep hold of the original products but would post the second ones back and lo and behold, they never received them and they charged me a second time £79.95 + £42.45. So, for all the website promises of just £2.49 to pay for each bottle for P&P (it is the typical small print and several clicks later before you get to the T&C) I am out of pocket to the tune of £234.90.
