Funny you should mention avoiding.......I'm still waiting for that evidence I asked you for. You made an accusation (again), you have not yet backed it up.
Looks like he can't back it up.
I wonder if he really does have a farmhouse and an IO mortgage ? He does seem to have a wild imagination.30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.0 -

So you just got pipped to the post in accusing me of being a sock puppet ?
I aint no creation renovation man, im me, this is what im like, i dont pretend to be anything.
I talk like this in real life, i say similar things as to what i say on here in real life, i generally just pi55 about and have a laugh as do all the other like minded people around me.

Dervprof, let's be serious here for a minute. You must realise that when people have these arguments spanning several pages that everyone else normally just skips past them, disinterested. You must also realise that this is especially true when the spat is on a thread that is intrinsically an argument thread. The whole thread is skipped my everyone else. So the reality is that unless you really believe you are in an ancient Greek forum, projecting your voice so that the people at the back of the crowd of interested bystanders can hear you, there is just you and me.
Now that we have established that, let's now be honest for a minute. You know you said that this is a debating board, not an advice board ( you said as much on this thread), you know you enjoy the 'rough and tumble of the arguments and you know you said you come onto this board for that. This was established a long time ago and you acknowledged it, you even suggested that I go to a different board if I wanted something else.
So as we have established that you are not a great orator in ancient Greece and that actually only you and me are reading this (and perhaps jimmy's handler), as we have established that we both know you said the above, don't you think it's a little silly to pretend otherwise?I wonder if he really does have a farmhouse and an IO mortgage ? He does seem to have a wild imagination.
I'm not geneer and so won't jump through hoops to prove anything. I simply don't care if you or the puppet master believe me. In many respects, it could work out well if you don't believe me because then you'll stop being jealous and stop dogging my steps on the forum.
I know you view this as a 'debate/fight' forum, but let's just, for once, dispense some advice. For the next few weeks you should post messages after mine saying "RM is a liar and a fantasist. He does not own a £450k house and does not have a £250k mortgage, he probably lives with his Mum". Once you feel that everyone on the forum has seen this and has had a laugh at how sad I must be to create such lies, your work is done and you can leave me to my sad fantasies.
Thereafter, whenever I post, you can be safe in the knowledge that if I discuss anything financial and relate it back to my personal experience or finances, everyone on the forum will quietly chuckle to themselves and disregard what I have said. You will no longer need to jump on my every post or hassle me around the forum. Your life's work will be complete.0 -

That's probably what you hope, otherwise they would see that you are throwing around random accusations about me, but can't back most of them up.
See ? I just accused you of avoiding an issue, and I am telling the truth, which is clear for anyone reading this to see. I think you probably hate this, therefore you come out with exaggerated claims about me (which gives me more reasons to question you, but get no answers).
Yes, I now very much doubt you claims about your financial circumstances, and I doubt you are much bothered by that, but it is the truth. I suspect that you have "enhanced" one or two things about yourself, just like you do about me.
Oh, and.....
"it could work out well if you don't believe me because then you'll stop being jealous".
How many time do I have to say it ? You just haven't got a clue, have you ?30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.0 -

*sigh* you know what you said Derv, it's pathetic to deny it. You want me to search around in the MSE old post basement either because you know it will be fruitless because you've already deleted the proof or so that you can say you 'made RenovationMan jumps through hoops like he did to poor old geneer".
I can't be bothered with all that, I'm quite apathetic towards you. You're the one who cares so much, you're the one who stalks me around the forum, you're the one who is so 'not jealous' about my finances that you mention them more that I do and now seem intent on a campaign of denial.
That's fine - go for it. As I say, I'm completely apathetic about the whole thing. It's fun to wind you up every so often and watch you go mental, it's fun to ignore you most often and watch you go mental (even running to JonnyBravo to complain that I won't debate with you, on one highly amusing and memorable occasion), but it's a very, very small part of what I'm on MSE to do.
I have my MFW challenge, discussions about mortgages, pensions, the economy, investments, green moneysaving, etc. to keep me occupied during quiet times at work/home. You, it seems, just have me.:rotfl:0 -

I know what I didn't say, and it's what you said I did.
And I see you are claiming that you wind me up.
It does appear that you try to wind me up, by posting untruths about me. Far from winding me up, it gives me the ammo to expose your desperate claims. I see you do that to one or two other members who don't bow down before your "superiority". I suppose it hurts when you don't get the positive feedback which you seem to crave.
BTW. I specially enjoyed your claim that I stalked you to some other area of the forum where you may have mentioned something about your wall insulation. The truth is, as I stated in an earlier post, that I knew about your wool insulation from posts that you made in this forum. That's another example of your rather poor "mud slinging" skills. You like to say that I follow you around the forums. Again, the truth is that the only time I`ve ever "followed" you to another forum is in the MFW section, and I seem to remember there was a reason why I did so. I think it was just before you got PPRed.
From where I`m sitting, it is me who is being honest here. If you can at least be honest with yourself, you will know that it is you that is being far from truthful in what you say about me. Start getting your facts right, and I won't bother you. You will have noticed that I do sometimes enter into sensible debate/discussion with you, but very rarely do you ever bother replying. I suppose that might be because you want to claim that I only ever stalk you.30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.0 -

Rather poor, compared to some of your recent artistic efforts, but hilarious, nevertheless.30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.0
