thanks, it's quite easy to do actually - you can just click on the search function. just as easy as following someone around the forum boards which you're quite accustomed to i would have thought. ;)

    You think wrong.

I do use the search function occasionally, mainly to find my own posts, and I have searched for one or two of RM posts. I'm sure he's done the same, and why not ?

In fact, I hope he's using the search function right now, because I'd like to know when I admitted "to using MSE merely to argue and 'get one up' on people".

Wasn't it chucky who first used "desperateprof" ? Whatever happened to chucky ?

that sounds like the beginnings of an accusation there dervprof, i do hope you're not going to accuse me of being someone else?

    i'm sure you wouldn't because that'd be a little bit hypocritical ;)

  • If I search your posts, would I also be geener? (again).

So many things wrong with this comment. Let's go through them.

    1. The obvious one is why Graham feels he has to jump in. That's because he loves his 'Bear' gang. It's the only time in his life that he has ever felt part of a community or ever had 'friends'. He would die for the bear gang if required. He is also desperate for attention, and feels left out if he i not in the centre of things.

    2. I never said that anyone who searches my posts is geneer. I just mentioned that geneer also tracked me onto another board. Once again Graham is showing that he deserves his 'Mr Muddle' moniker. He really does get himself into a muddle.

    3. The (again) addition. I have never accused graham of being anyone but Graham. Once again he is trying to desperately muddle things up. Graham has a prodigious post rate of 100 per day, and something like 30,000 posts(and counting). If he spent any more time on the forum, Martin would have to give him a job. I therefore don't think he has the time to run sockies.

    No, I'm not.

As RM knows, there's too much risk in being wrong, and therefore looking a bit of a (.)

Says the man who has used something like ..... "what a long and rambling post".

You always look a lot of a (.), regardless. You're doing it right now, but don't have the self awareness to see. :rotfl:

It's such fun ribbing Dervprof. He confessed he only comes onto MSE for an argument. If that' the case then he must be a masochist, because he always ends up worst off and storms off calling his adversary 'RetardMan'. :rotfl:

    Waiting for the evidence.

If anyone comes here to "get one up" on people, it could be you......
Oh, I can almost feel the jealousy oozing out of the screen as I read this post. I reached your own good fortune many years ago when I bought my first starter home in 1995 (same year as yourself I believe) and paid off the mortgage. Unlike yourself, I didn't settle for just this. When we both retire I will be downsizing from a 5 bed farmhouse with attached 1 bed apartment and a few acres of land with various out buildings and you will erm, be staying put for another 25 years.

No wonder you are reticent about boasting. There isn't much to shout about is there?

STOP PRESS- Middle aged man owns 2 bed house that he bought cheap in 1995 and lived in ever since .--- :rotfl:

Makes "RetardMan" seem like a rather accurate nickname.

BTW. I`ve just realised that my parents bought a 2 bedroom house around 1960, and they have lived there ever since, as have their neighbour and several of my relatives. Thinking about it, I have several friends who have lived in their properties for longer than I have lived here. RM's measure of "success" is obviously based on the number of times you move house, and if you have "gambled" (or not ?) on interest rates.

Isn't he some NHS contractor or something?
Quite the cheek, sitting on here all day, paid for by you and me, mocking hardworking homeowners who managed to buy a (whole) house with hard graft and who like to share their equity challenge with other MSE'ers.

Sherlock Holmes has arrived. Joined this month, and already knows what GD does for a living.

Another "search function stalker" ? How else would a new member know such a thing about another member ?
