Mobile phone Insurance best available?

Looking to change my phone as 1 month away from the end of mine with Orange. I currently have Orange care which is ok, but I do get fed up with getting refurb phones when I have had to claim. (think once you have had your phone more than 6 months its a refurb)

I have a flex account with no fee so don't get included mobile phone insurance there.

Looking to get an Iphone or similar and although I don't want a 2 year contract it looks like that may be what I have to get.

Instead of getting Orange care does anyone else know of any good insurance covers for mobiles? a friend of mine gets his with his bank account and has an Iphone which twice he has had to claim for and both times got a brand new phone from apple. I would prefer this type of cover so does anyone have any suggestions please? or any to avoid for sure!

any other options? adding my iphone to my home insurance will set me back £150 and only cover me for £300 and not covering loss. :/

    thanks
