    £495 sounds very reasonable as long as there's no extras such as searches and ad hoc items that the sol could add on..... read T&Cs and quotation carefully.

    still offers over only been on market 5 weeks and has had a lot off interest shown, however no offers as yet. ;)

    no not yet, i think im the only official note off interest so far, whats holding me back is althout i absolytley i love the property i believe it to be overpriced, i have seen bigger popertys in better areas at less, but there is something about this one i love so thats my dilemma!!! :(

    It's not straightforward then. If they're still on Offers Over and there's only one note of interest other viewers are holding back. As much as you like it then you're going to have to play the game of house buying. I'd be inclined to discuss the options with your solicitor at the moment, bearing in mind that he/she will not tell you what to do, only advise what you COULD do.

    My inclination would be to wait until it either goes to a closing date, then see what other notes of interest go in against it, and bid accordingly on the last day or wait until it goes fixed price and come in at least £20,000 under the fixed price and see what they say.
