i wondered if anyone knew of a cheap or preferably free phone number to call Virgin about their broadband from a virgin mobile ( i don't have a landline).

There is not one to my knowledge. Recently spent over £18 on mobile calls re a broadband fault. Once it was fixed about six weeks later I phoned them up and claimed for the loss of BB service and the cost of mobile calls which they credited to my account. They did ask if I had itemised billing which I do but they never asked to see a copy of it.

I couldn't get any of the numbers on saynoto0870 for VM to work when I tried recently.

There are 0800 numbers which will work but mobiles charge for them too the gits.

Waterman - I thought calls to VirginMedia's 150 service from a Virgin Mobile were free as part of your mobile package.

From memory if you call 789 from your Virgin Mobile the menu list includes the option to speak to someone about your Broadband service. The Virgin Mobile site states "...Calls to 789 from your Virgin Mobile phone are absolutely free and if you'd like to speak to one of our team, it'll cost you just 10p per call...."
