you are looking for L2 service that everyone charges for, though there are many free 30 day trials floating about.

ADVFN offers a free one if you sign up but usually times out within 30 seconds, if not quicker on subsequent loads.

Your best bet is to get a few free trials, then probably have to start paying for it...it's only fair!":D

FWIW I've just been using shareprice.co.uk. It's been streaming live prices now for at least 40 minutes, I don't know if it ever times out (I guess it must at some point?).

I think they also do an app for smart phones too, that pretty useful . If you are trading anywhere close to 10k then just pay for the info, its going to be a small percent of the money you make or might lose if trying to cut corners.

A proper data service will give you intra day info going back a year or more which should give a significant advantage. Places like yahoo only give that data for 5 days and google its 1 month but Barclays you need at least 3 or 4 years worth of day trading info to be have an idea what it'll do

Investors can skimp and say I only care what the daily price was. A trader buying every 15 mins needs more detail I reckon hence pro service seems wise to me

An old thread and list of proper data companies

Yes, I use the shareprice.co.uk Android app, which works fine (though I wish you could increase the font size).
