I am very confused about the bit I have bolded, I also sell a few items on ebay but what has that got to do with anything?

Speaking with my fraud-detection professional (ex) hat on, I'd translate that as:

Our automatic system has flagged your account as a possible hijack or seller-gone-bad so we're manually reviewing it. We're trying to establish whether you actually have the stock you're selling or whether you're going to do a runner with the cash and leave us with a lot of chargebacks and irate customers, damaging our brand. If you have your own website selling these or sell similar items on eBay, please point us in that direction so we can check that you've got happy customers and are who you say you are.

Amazon are notoriously secretive about their fraud-flagging system, they see it as a competitive advantage - when I was doing the job, I was a member of a big ecommerce anti-fraud forum and even eBay (who usually don't share any information with anyone) sent a representative along to the quarterly meetings, but Amazon never showed up. According to the grapevine, they've had big, big problems with chargebacks in the past, which may account for their system now being a little over-zealous.

I would agree with you that this has happened purely because their stock update system got behind and managed to sell 10 Wiis for you, I'm sure it'll all be fine in the end. Annoying though.

yes the above makes a lot of sense except i have not had the money for 10 wiis, only 3, everyone else has been refunded or order cancelled. 2 of the wiis i did sell were from the beginning of december and i have provided tracking to prove they were delivered, and the 3rd does not need to be sent until wed/thurs next week. All I can guess is that nobody has really looked into it yet. I just hope that as soon as someone does look into it that all will become clear and they will promptly release my funds.
