I have just started taking an interest in this thread and have read a good way back though not all of the posts. Will definately try the watercress soup next time I see a bag of wilting watercress.
I have just scrolled through the 579 items on my tesco.com site and 2 items stand out. 6 pack TV Strawberry and 6 pack TV Strawberry and white chocolate cereal bars 61p and 76p respectivly however also on 342 until 23/8/11. This = 6.77p and 8.44p each bar. I think of these as 'emergency food' for handbag/car when I havent time for breakfast or end up somewhere unexpected with no food !
Still virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)
It takes 3500 calories to lose a pound in weight. Target 13 lbs weight loss. 18.5lbs lost 2nd May - 28 September.

The ones that I bought have an expiration date of Aug 2012 - we use loads of rice so the 12 bags will be gone long before then x

I read the whole of this forum and thought id go and do my weekly shopping I managed to get
    6 shower gels @ 12p each
    3 baby shampoos @8p
    tortilla chips @50p
    toothbrushes @10p
    4 pasta quills @ 19p each
2 panty liners @ 22p (there didnt seem to be any tampons)
The rice was scanning at 51p so I might try another tesco for that, if anyone knows any tescos in brum that are scanning at the cheaper price pls pm me.

However I think I was in luck as I picked up 3 reduced pizzas @90p each, after I had paid I realised one had gone through at original price of £3.00 I explained this and was told to go and wait at customer services. A SA came over and refunded me £9.00. I said thank you and smiled sweetly.. :) I wasnt expecting that.
  • Apologies if this has been posted, but yesterday I got Daisy soap powder 2.75KG both bio and for coloured clothes at 99p. It was marked on SEL at this price. Value soap powder in bag was also 99p.
