Seems to be differing opinions on the dishwasher tablets, maybe it depends how vicious the dishwasher is :) Might give them a go next time I need some, my current one is a bit of a beast :D

Compared the ingredients on the back of the baby bath this morning with those on the back of my expensive (though not to me) Radox thyme antibac handwash (£1.63 for 250ml normal price). Ingredients are virtually identical, give or take a perfume or two, and the baby bath is exactly the same colour and leaves my hands really soft. Guess what I'll be refilling with?
    Hope is not a strategy.

Value long grain rice 1kg 18p; Value crunchy peanut butter 340g jar 18p.

Not value brand but Cirio tomato passata, 1kg, down to 34p - price originally £1.30something. ( Tesco own passata is 28p for 500g and Cirio is a very good make).

All of the above long BBDs - well into next year and beyond.

May be local as showing at higher prices on Tesco online site but revert to lower prices when I sign in - I'm in Scotland.

Will have to buy the rice tomorrow if it's 18p as last time I looked at was about 54p which was lower than recently. I also noticed the pasta went down in price.

It annoys me how things in Tesco change in price (without being on offer) so often (not value but Tesco regular caffeine free coke was always 56p and then it was suddenly 76p while all the others were still 56p but now a few weeks later it's 54p!)
