tesco value toothbrushes 10p for 2

Always keep these in for the odd guest or grandchild that just happens to stay the night, also great to take away and put in the bin on the way home along with the toothpaste.
    Thanks ops for the info

None of the baby stuff available, all sold out and I couldn't even see a place where the happy sacks should be! There are 2 packets of chili peanuts left though ;)

Typical Tesco western avenue then, they never have the good bargains! x

Must agree - I saw this for the 1st time in my store local to work the other day and decided to try the white one - very nice & think it was only 34p for a big bar (have yet to try the other varieties though)

Was just going to post that Sainsburys still do "basic" chocolate in plain, milk & white. Don't often go to Sainsbos but when I do I make sure I stock up now that T's have stopped selling the value bars. The plain one makes fab choc chip cookies!!

    Hi All,
I know this is essentially a Tesco thread, but in answer to the above,
Asda do a value range of choc bar, which is ok ,for approx 27p, also Aldi's Dairyfine bars are only 30p, and are really nice, ( I use them to bake with the grandkids!), makes lovely crispy cakes!:)

Feedback - I always have stocks of the Value toothbrushes too - great for guests - also the value toothpaste is fine - teenagers not keen on flavour but I find it ok - they buy their own!

Just returned from visiting two Tescos about 3 miles apart.

Value shower gel - now a whopping 30p so I didn't buy any!
    Value wipes - 36p so I didn't buy any!
Nappy sacks - 4p in one store and 36p in the other
    Lemon washing up liquid - 40p - Bought 6
Value pan scourers (6) - 14p - bought one to give them a go
    Tesco Tampons (16) - 40p
Value Pantyliners - now 3op but charged me 50p and I only noticed when I returned home
Value Washing powder liquid for 28 washes - £1.54p - bought some to try
Value Toilet Cleaner (pine) - 25p

    But my best buy was:

Parioli chopped tomatoes x 4 - SEL showed 98p for one separate tin but the SEL for the pack of 4 was also showing 98p. I bought 3 lots. They went through at 98p. The Parioli plum tomatoes x 4 (not chopped) had a SEL of £2.98p. So don't buy those. They only had them in the first Tesco I went to.
