Tesco value products (temporarily on silly prices!)

* washing liquid for clothes @ £1.54 (no idea how good it is - probably won't remove stains but should be ok to freshen clothes that have hardly been worn)

Hi Kingfisherblue - yes I get this and its great for running through on th quick cycle just tof reshen stuff up - whihc is most these days. I usually buy a box of DAZ to use on stained dirtier items when needed - but the value stuff is fine for most.

Just to report - Baby shampoo fine, as is baby bath. Baby lotion a bit runny but quite nice smell. Wipes also handy at low price - handy to have the odd pack around the house.
Value toilet tissue now gone quite expensive but fine to use.

Sainsburys Value Chocolate if nice (sorry I can't remember exact price off top of my head) but I think it's under 40p for a large bar and is actually very nice (and that is from a self confessed chocaholic! )

they only lasted at 9p for one day last time and had gone up to 49p when i checked the next day, everywhere has been totally sold out since then

Must agree - I saw this for the 1st time in my store local to work the other day and decided to try the white one - very nice & think it was only 34p for a big bar (have yet to try the other varieties though)

Hi Rasta. Thanks for that! Will scan, if I remember to, later on.

The SEL is invariably incorrect on value items. The penne pasta for example was 30 odd pence last night according to the SEL but in fact was half that when purchased.

Hopefully we will get updated with folk scanning and checking receipts.
