Anyone had luck in using the print-out coupon for getting Powerade?0 -
Choose a young cashier, they tend not to make a big deal of coupons, look confident, pass your coupons over with your points card. If you have purchased the products you are well within your rights to use coupons. Good luck, by the way it does get easier although I still get a bit nervous at times.
thank you judy i'm quite a confident person so that shouldnt be a problem, i'll remeber the young cashier part the next time im in mr t's house
*update*
just back from mr t's house, and handed my cupons over for free spam(i dont really like spam, but hey it was free and i like free), the SA did have a few problems scanning them in but she was really nice and got another SA to help out and i was on my way
checked the recipt when i got home and for a £2.76 recipt i only had to pay 60p, not bad for a first attempt at cuponing, and gor 14 clubcard points that wernt mine*I Love My Stash*Pedro's is getting so big he has his own pen0 -

Well done you! I have a trip to make tomorrow to Mr T with a pile of carefully crafted coupons. Though the Velvet offer in Icel*nd has just thrown a spanner into the works somewhat....off to re-adjust my list now. I have a conditional spend coupon and am struggling to make up the amount, but think I might just buy something I could return if I can make the amount - I'm assuming (asking the benefit of those more experienced) that this should work?Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

When in Ts yesterday I had a lovely SA she was very patient with my 20+ coupons. Had a great shop and saved over £24!
She processed the coupons swiftly and only questionned if I had purchased one - she actually apologised and apologised saying she did trust me but she had to check and she didn't recall seeing this item (Newman bbq thingy). I said it as fine and she went on to explain she'd been in awful trouble for accepting coupons where the product was not purchased. She told me her supervisors are now checking them over and she implied she had quite a dressing down.
I know some people think its okay to stretch the rules and purchase other things which the coupon is not strictly for. Maybe the 'big' people like the supermarket and the food maufacturers may not suffer but it seems to me that the other people involved like us and the SAs will do.
I am delighted when I get a great SA, it makes my essential savings less stressful and I don't want to create the Trouts who make me feel small and embarrassed. I am not a confident person, I have cancer and I'm having chemo. When I can shop I need to do this without hassle nor stress and after not being able to work since November I need to make these savings.
I will do what I have to do and others will have to do what they have to do. I am not telling anyone what they should or shouldn't do - but I needed to express my personal opinion so maybe you might consider my point of view.
well said and all the best.
not all of us are brave enough to have a stand off in store and seem to get little return when there is a problem, but that is life. as you say sometimes others suffer for other peoples actions.0 -
Cant believe what just happened in when i went into Tesco with my coupons! I only had abot 11 compared with my usual hoard. I poped into the local Tesco extra to pick up some items which I had coupons for and went to the till. When it was my turn to be served I handed my coupons over at the end and the woman on the till said O i've never seen these before let me check if we accept them so off she went to ask the supervisor. On her return she said to me I cant believe this she want me to check ebery item you have bought along with the size you have bought. OMG my mum saw red and emptied all the shopping bags back onto the counter and started shouting for the supervisors to come and sort it out. I couldnt believe it I felt like I had been accused of nicking something. The supervisor wouldnt come over she just stood back and watched while the poor woman on the till check every item and size against every coupon. I was livid. I came back and complained to CS and all he said was well we have to make sure you buy the products. I asked him if it was Tesco policy to make customers feel like criminal and his answer was no but I can see the stores side to this. Not happy at all.:mad::mad:
Please can someone give me the Name and e-mail addy of the head of Tesco to complain. If it's cheap I Like it. If its Free I love it!0 -
I think youre over reacting, they quite often check if you have bought each item although they havent yet asked me if I've bought the right size. You dont need to empty the bags, they can check on the till which items youve bought.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

Sharwoods Curry Paste seems to have finished.myrtleturtle wrote: »thanks
its a strange one they have extendtion of 31/8 on first page but when going to print your right it says offer finished
It might be worth contacting Sharwoods and reporting it, Couponstar have probably c0cked up and ended earlier (On the initially intended end date) and Sharwoods know nothing about it! - I have already had coupon and cheque and moc from them so they will probably know my details but if anyone who hasn't had it at their address lets Sharwoods know they may get it reinstated or at least a moc for their trouble!:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS!
:p :rotfl:;)

Anyone had luck in using the print-out coupon for getting Powerade?
email I got 7 months ago re online newspaper couponsDear expressman
Thanks for your email. I'm sorry it's taken so long to respond to your email. I'm pleased to tell you that as long as the full voucher and barcode are readable on the voucher, we'll accept this for the Oasis drink.
I do hope this information helps. I’m grateful to you for taking the time to contact us. We look forward to seeing you in store again soon.
Kind regards
