We;ve got a small turkey.. a small gammon, with all the usual veggies n stuff, cooked in the steamer, then trifle and/or xmas pud with cream or custard. Then there's spinach canneloni, ensaladiglia, and rice balls to snack on.The reason we fail so often is because we trade what we want in our lives for what we want at that moment0

7 people will be dining 'Chez Fleet', from a turkey designed to serve 16-18!
Hey, I like Turkey & mayo sarnies, ok? The turkey itself will be roasted with a creamy layer of cream and mascarpone cheese between the skin and the meat (just gently ease the skin away from the bird without breaking it and then shove it all up there). It will be served with honey coated parsnips, roast potatoes with a herb and flour coating (home recipe), apple and pork stuffing (improved by adding sausagemeat to it), sausage and bacon, brussels, carrots, peas, cabbage, broccoli, mash (with a hint of cheddar in it), yorkshire puddings & drizzled with turkey gravy.
While I work 6am to 6pm today, Mrs Fleet informs me that the trifle has been made (proper one, not a birds packet job) full of fruit and sponge. I made the mince pies yesterday. Xmas pud there too if required!
All in all, an enjoyable and perhaps gluttonous feast. Don't think we need a starter somehow.Fog on The Tyne isn't mine all mine... but if I wanted it, I'd want it with a discount code.0
