    Didn't work for me. Have a private & a gold with NW (from before it was limited to one - chambta, it changed recently so you are only allowed one packaged account now) and applied to open an RBS royalties gold. Had a phone call from your bank saying 'we can open it for you but you'll have to pay the £12.95 pm as you're only allowed the one packaged account now'.

    I know it has recently changed as a colleague, who like me has two gold account (one sole, one joint) asked to change one to the Silver and he was refused.

    Think it's been like that for at least a year.

    I upgraded to Royalties Gold, opened new Advantage Gold, then upgraded to Royalties Private.
    Anything that I do say, is strictly my opinion :p
